BioFish – Applied for land-based salmon production

Biofish is pleased to announce that the operational company Biofish AS has applied to Vestland Fylkeskommune for a new license also producing land-based salmon.
The production application will be under existing operational production facilities. The total production regulation will be of total 2.200 ton of post smolt and applied land-based salmon production.

About Biofish: Biofish is a land-based producer of smolt - juvenile fish destined for aquaculture facilities. The company's production takes place in its production facilitiy in Kvam on the Norwegian west coast, using a Recirulating Aquaculture System (RAS), which recycles at least 99% of the water used. Biofish deliver smolt to salmon farms along the Norwegian coast.
